need help installing an EQ
as the title states i'm kinda stuck, i just bought a kenwood kgc6042a EQ, its got rear, front, and sub rca's and input rca's, the power harness has 12v, gnd, remote on it, and my deck has rear, front, sub, aux in, couple video, xm, and i pod, so heres where i'm at, i've got the rear, front, and sub plugged in, power and ground are to the decks, the remote is to the amp remote, and whats left is the input on the EQ, where would i hook that to? i'm assuming i need it, but i'm not sure that my deck has it, is there anything else i can do to make the EQ work

You can get a manual for that unit here:

It only has 2 Channel input - so basically you would run from your front or rear outputs from your deck into the EQ - then you would use the EQ to do all your fade/balance/sublevel controls - with the deck set to 0, center etc etc so you have the purest signal possible coming out of it.
Depending on the deck you have - you may be better off not running this EQ.
Post some details on your system, deck, amps, speakers, subs etc and we can let you know more.
