scarlem, u cant get those in Toronto or even Canada. shipping from parts express is going to be about 60 bux USD, i've already tried that. if you want those ports i jus worked out a VERY good deal with the manufacturer themselves and im about to confirm the price. so let me know if you are interested. I could probably get them cheaper than at partsexpress and shipping would not be out of this world.

Sound Solutions sells real Aero Ports, but it is located in Victoria, B.C. I got 2 4" aero ports for $40cdn each, pretty steep price for some plastic, but they aided in a 1st place with 2 10" subs and a D2 amp

Here is an older pic of the ports, they are fluted on both ends

Tinted - if the deal goes through let me know as I am very interested in these ports. I am still working with some people and trying to figure out how many ports I should run, its gonna either be 2 or 4. Let me know a price when you iron out the details.

perhaps you are correct, but the pipe itself is not 4 inches in diameter. it was more along 3.75 if you take that RF port pipe it easilly fits right into a the standart 4 inch pvc pipe....which is not supposed to happen.

and another thing, my inner and outter 'flares' are the same as well, they are both 6.25 inches....BUT the extra space that is around the outter flare makes it look bigger but does NOT count as a flare or does anything for the sound. but the flares are the same size in and out.

oh and i know where partsexpress get their ports from.......i got mine from the same manufacturer.

I can't believe none of you (Dukk included) have talked about building them.

Use 4" PVC pipe and MDF rings stacked on both ends of the pipe. Flare the MDF rings with a radius bit on a router. If you want a really big radius, double up on the rings on each end to give more material to "flare".

The important thing to remember is that you should put a flare on both ends. You SPL people probably don't mind "chuffing" to much, but it sounds like distortion when you listen to music at high volumes.

Buid em people... it's very cheap. Paint them pink, and when people ask who made your flashy ports, you get to massage your ego.
