My Alpine Setup stopped working...

I have a alpine deck, (x100)
alpine amp (MRP-M1000) 1000watt rms @ 2ohms
alpine sub Type x(wired at 2ohms 1000watt rms)
All of a sudden when my music was playing low the sub stopped working and I don't have a idea why.. I bought a brand new sub to test if the amp is working and I'd get the same problem..

when I play the bass low I get a small sound from the coil like a rattling and when I put it all the way up( thats the only time the speaker will boom ) it'd be this shitty bass.. it does the same for both the type x and the new sub.

It has to be the amp then, I checked the ground which is connected straight to my car chassis and I checked the power and I'm getting 14volts which is good.
All the wires are in place, I checked the amp to deck wire, checked the speaker wires.. even connected the sub straight to amp without a box and getting the same problem..
What do I do?.. Since I never got my system professionally installed and alpine is hella far from me (i'm on vacation in new brunswick)

Thanks!

Next thing to check is the Xover and gain settings......sounds like somethings not dialed in right.........check for a conflict between the deck and the amp HP and LP filters......let me know how that works for you......

Orrr check your subwoofer settings on the deck, I know mine(x300) is touchy and hit it a few times scrolling through options and turned it off and/or low....
