MTX Thunder 6500D Wired 1 ohm?
#11
Well I justed tested it out both ways 4 ohm and 1 ohm wiring on the ID subs and well there ant really much there, I was justw ondering with the MTX 6500d when you wire the subs up to the amp (in either way 4 ohm or 1 ohm) to you bridge (+ on on terminal and - on the other teminal) the amp also or do you just use on of the selected terminals? Everything is functioning fine and all but there just not much there. my guess is that these subs are under rated and well they are competition speakers. If this is the problem then I guess id haveta sell this MTX amp and get a higher power amp. Any recomendations? Anyone wanna buy a MTX 6500D amp LOL

There are 2 sets of terminals on the 6500D. The terminals are internally bridged.
Meaning that if you have many ways to wire it up.
Run one set of terminals to each sub.
Run positive from one side and negative from the other and parallel the woofers.
your choice.
hope that helps.
