To humor you i will use just the y-splitter from the start. But my system is going to be expanding and will require a line driver in the future for sure. On a side note, the 300wrms of the alpine should be a perfect match for the w3 but i am thinking that i am not getting the output i should. The box is 0.6cuft BEFORE displacement of the sub. Making it slightly smaller that the recommended size. Would this greatly effect the potential for it to be loud or just the frequency response of the sub?
