West looking to install 10 000W subs

pretty sure this is my first post here... haha good stuff
anyways im looking at installing the MA AUDIO EHO154 15" sub in my 97' expedition with 3200rms power acoustic amp, and was wondering if anyone has any experience with these subs and weather or not they are worth getting or not, and also, for installing should i be looking at installing another alternator (or a bigger one) or will i be able to get away with just dropping in a bigger battery?

im looking to get some subs that are really going to pound so im open to any suggestions as well.

Suggestion #1, step away from the merde..... bigger does not mean better.
Suggestion #2, identify what it is you want to accomplish (good sound or rip death by bass), then come up with a budget for it.
Suggestion #3, list what else is in the vehicle.

thanks for the 3 suggestions. im looking at getting polk audio components to replace the pioneer premiers that are in my doors.

but for the subs i deffinatly want sound quality but im willing to give some up for some gut wrenching bass.

im looking around 400-500 $$ a sub kind of deal, but cheaper is always nice, as long as its still good

A little bit more on the budget and you would be into Digital Designs and the 3512 series or a little more of a stretch into the 15" versions. I do have a demo set of DD3512 to sell with full warranty on them. They will handle all day long 1200w rms each and give you copious amounts of bass. Send Basstoy a PM and ask him the results that just one of them dish out. Regardless of the sub, I hope you are ready to build the mother of all sub boxes. A couple of these things and anything resembling being loose is going to fall apart. Don't count on using the rear view mirror either.

great sub rob... also look into the mtx 7500 series.. i have used these subs and installed hundreds of them with excellent results for spl as well as sq... the box will decide what kind of sound you want out of them... and the price is excellent....

try the jbl w15gti sub, the sq is real nice and it still can get pretty loud.....i'd drop in a deep cycle battery upfront and one in the back, and say a 200-220amp alt and that should do your system nice

i was looking at these a few weeks ago, how low are you willing to part with your demo set for? the back of my SUV is already all box, but ill be building a new one either way no matter what subs i end up getting...

also thank you grimez, ill look into the batteries, and im almost dead certain i have a 200 amp alt in my SUV already, so thats one less cost hahah

i see the TF sub adds on here, anyone have personal experience with them? they look like a good bang for the buck..
