As the title says, do you know of someone that has experience installing a tablet as a HU? Specifically, I want to rip out the radio from my truck and install an Android tablet - a Google Nexus 7 (7 inch tablet) with a custom bezel so that it is easy to dock it and remove with separate connections for the 3 mm plug for sound and power for charging.

I would rather not do the install myself as the finished product will not look that great and I just don't have the time myself.

A local installer - Oakville is preferred, however someone in Mississauga, Brampton, Burlington or Hamilton would work too.

I would assume that Seductive Sounds should, definitely 20Hz Audio and possibly Ultra Auto Sound ... each have websites, take a look and give them a call.

Don't just listen to me, shop it around. I'm missing shops as well but those are the ones I'm personally aware of that could complete an advanced audio project.

Thanks DaVibe. I just called Ultra Auto Sound and they have done a couple of installs already like this.

I'll be heading there once the new Samsung Galaxy Note 2 comes out. Or maybe try to fit the 7" ASUS Galaxy Nexus in the Double Din opening.

20Hz is by far the MOST CUSTOM shop out of any I can think of around here ...
You ever seen that Red SRT8 at the car shows? That's them, among many years of business ...
