Lil wiring Job (pic included)

I see two power wires I think. On the positive side of the batt in the picture. The black lines say "main power to front battery (already installed)". Then you have a red & black line and they say "To Front". So should one of those be not there? Do you need to fuse grounds also?
Would 4guage wire work for the whole thing?
thanks

here, detailed for you
and no, 4 gauge should not be used, it is barely big enuf to run the one amp along, nevermind 2, a batt and cap....if you have 4 gauge in there now, thats probably a good cause of the light dimming as well.
upgrade to 0 gauge and do the big 3 and get rid of the cap

so in this big three where it states to do the following
1) Battery negative to chassis
2) Alternator to battery positive
3) Chassis to engine
you're talking replacing these wires wit what, 4 ga or 0ga wire ?..and thanks for the responces guys, and the pic mat, losing the cap sucks, but if its that useless and will just be wore wiring then w/e i'll just sell the thing..lol
and in your setup , i need 2 fuses in 1 line of wire ? ..and if installed 0 guage im guessing it would have to go into a block of somesort to be split off , im thinking my amp wouldnt take a beastly 0 guage straight up..

wow, i'd skip the ground wires from the amps and stuff to the battery simply because you can save alot of wire if you do the big three " the right way".. its like a big "8" , you have to upgrade the grounds all over, its easier then running strands to your batt. anyways i'm ganna try and find the how-to, its somewhere, its very detailed i think. save you time.
I think you have to add grounding wires from the body to the frame and so on so forth, because most of the time even tho you have the big three done, the welds from the body metal to the frame makes a weak contact, so thats why people resort to sending full lengths of wire to the batt when all they would need to do is add a small wire from body to frame. ;-)
but this is just advice.

They are already there. Look at your battery and follow the wires from there. You will see where they all go from that point. When I did mine I used the factory location for alt to batt and found better locations for engine to chassis and chassis to negative batt. I left all the factory wiring intact and ran new runs of 1/0 for the upgrades.

use 0 gauge for the big 3 as well as fron to back wiring.
you dont need a distribution block, thats what your rear battery is for, o guage from front to back then ur 4 gauge from there to amp.
also, u need 2 fuses because theres a power source at both ends. if the fise shorts with to batts, and u only fuse near the front, the back batt will short big time.
