Mind me akiing lol,whats a harness? j/k i always hardwire its easier to drink 3 beers while doing that than driving(oops) i mean calling a buddy to drive me over to crappy tire . Those things are for newbies,lol

you are joking right ? like please don't say you don't have those connections soldered and just electrical taped together , that makes me sad .
seriously get 8 " of shrink tube some rosin core solder a soldering gun and some flux . that is the laziest thing i have ever herd in my life .
if you haven't figured it out yet electrical tape with no solder does not work fine its a shitty connection . anyone that has ever put two wires together should know this .
i can solder in a stereo harness in 5 minutes with a good gun , and not have a drop fall . if your worried throw a shallow card board box below were your working .
