Candian Tire has to do with what people listen to from so called "proffessionals" and preach it out to everyone else. I dont care what you bought from there and i am not youre buddy. I never said anything about fire hazards having something to do with SQ, i said if you cover your battery terminals you are looking for every little point out of iasca sq. Just because you dont put a little piece of plastic on your battery it doesnt make you a shitty installer or unknowledgeable . Ill tell you a little something else if you dont have terminal covers, put petroleum jelly on them and consider your corrosion and possiblity of water damage taken care of just as much if not more then a cover. If you get into a damn accident even at 40 kms, it doesnt matter if you have a damn box around the battery if it gets hit consider it a fire hazard either way. Oh and also, Alma has her buss bars exposed out the back bottom of the truck with exposed ring terminals going to and from them. But anyways, This thread...... lock it up.

Dont worry 98 i should have put that in there. Its supposed to be answers and questions from you. Not others bitching back and forth. They can start a different thread.

Gumby, heres was I think.

I think you are a mouthy little b!tch who should just stop argueing over something so meaningless. I'm sorry that I may have hurt your ego or pride, but enough is enough.

You have been reduced to running your mouth repeated without even hearing a reply back. I'm not going to drive down to Atlanta from Edmonton, AB of all places.

I'm not competing and therefore I have no standards that need met. I run a system for streetbeating. By the looks of it, 98_Z24 is just street beating as well.

Long story short, if you need to cover them, do so. If you don't need to cover them, do what you want.

I'm getting sick of you mouthing off and fighting about nothing. Since you've had 15 years experience with car audio, I'm guessing that you are at least 31 (based on getting your licence at age 16). You would think that by that age, you would learn not to run your mouth and maybe show a bit of maturity in a confrontation with someone and not just start trying to gouge at people.

Enough is enough. I'm not argueing anymore.

Mods, please close this thread down before Gumby decides he needs to run his mouth again to make his E-***** that little bit larger.

Also if you want to poke fun at my spelling thats fine but i dont even have a grade 9 education and work 6 days a week to take care of my wife and me and keep up with the HOBBY i love.

You know what man i know ill get in but **** YOU. You dont know me and you obviously like to be a little ********, so you can take your rude shitty attitude and stick it up your ***. Its funny to make fun of people less fortunate then you. You are probably the type of person that laughs at young people in wheel chairs and who have down syndrome. Shame on you, im done with this thread and your sad self.

I think I'll stay out of this argument. Gumby, no I did not cover my terminals. Really did not see the need. Smoke, you are right, I won't be going to any comps (At least without another 15 sub, another amp, and turning my back seat into a sub box ), just a loud system that I like to take pride in, as I done all work myself. I don't see the need of covering those terminals, if the hood manages to somehow touch those terminals, I'd assume a fire hazard would be the least of my worries, as it'd take a hard smack to do that. My install isn't clean in the trunk(yet), let alone under the hood, but the sound and bass are clean, and to me, that's all that matters (As long as the back seat is up )
