Installing Alpine M780 Question
Hi guys,
I'm trying to install Alpine M780 LCDs on my headrest. I have a few questions about the wiring. I will be tapping power from the fuse panel.
Here's the question:
There's
-a red wire, goes to power
-a yellow/blue wire goes to parking break lead
-a black wire goes to ground
I want the LCDs to be on when I'm driving and not when it's parked.
Can I hook up the yellow/blue wire with the black wire and ground them together to bypass this problem?
Lastly, the instruction states "use the correct amp" for fuse tapping.
Exactly what does this mean, I thought I would be able to tap into any fuse as long as there's enough amp.
I'm thinking about tapping into a 15amp fuse, but I just want to make sure from the experts that it's ok.
I figure it should be fine to tap into any fuse rated 10amp and up.
Regards.
