hooking two amps off a cap, you don't need a distribution block, just run two powers off the cap, and you can ground off the cap also or have seperate grounds. Warning, if you ground on the cap you will suck a lot more juice, but with those amps it should be alrite. The remote shouldn't be a problem as long as it's hooked up to the deck properly, and it is a decent deck (not the cheapest one). Not personally a fosgate fan so I could just blame the amps, but I won't, for cutting out. If they both go off at the same time than it will probably be the remote, or bad ground. If only the sub amp goes off, could just be a protective stage.

I think you should looking into getting a new fuse holder. Safety is key.
