Ideas for cable protection/plexi and LEDs in Toronto
I'd like to build somethign that's both good-looking and built to protect all the cable connections you see here:
I was thinking some form of Extruded Aluminum that can sheild these connections against damage for when I go camping later this month and put the seats down. I can easily blanket the amps for scratch protection, but i'd also like to prevent anything from resting on the cable connections.
Is there any advice that anyone can provide? Any shops that do work like this?
Also, I'd like to get a set of wheel-well red led accents lights. having all disk brakes, I think I could light them up and it would look quite nice.
Thanks for looking!

Aluminum could be a stretch unless you are friendly with a fab shop that has a good bender.
I would consider plexi, lexan, or ABS bent to shape. If bending sounds tough, try a 4" ABS or PVC pipe cut lengthwise into a 1/4 round. Then glue a strip of ABS plastic to the 'top' part of it to overlap onto the top of the amp where the setscrews are. Paint it up and it would look nice and custom and be dead easy. Take maybe an hour plus paint dry time.
