my local show quoted me $550+ just to add the connection to the STOCK head unitther has to be a whey to use the aux the the unit.right? i know the sound quality might not be the same but that ok with me

use a 3.5mm male to male adapter. soo headphone jack to headphone jack. if you want to add an aux to the stock deck i would be looking at around 160$ with the adapter.. its a direct FM adapter with power hardwired to the vehicle. but ya if you allready have the AUX just get the male to male jack and your set. FS sells those for like 5$ or even a dollar store for a buck or 2

Hey dasnegro,

If your vehicle has the aux button, check out www.soundgate.com for a 'direct in adapter'. Not sure about your particular radio, some of those King Ranch vehicles have this for their video option package. If so, there may be an adapter that will directly control your iPod. This will provide you with the best option for sound quality... well as good as an mp3/iPod can.

Hope this helps!

Cheers,
Rino
