I know how to hook up amps and decks already. I just wanted to know if i use a origional cd deck how can i hook up my amp to it. I heard someone say u can get this plug for it? If so where can i get it and how much does it cost? How do i plug it? thanx. I really appreciate if someone can answer this question.

a stock deck you mean? you can get this speaker to RCA convertor for your car. it wires up to the rear speakers and converts it to an RCA signal. you can get it from wal-mart for 20$....not the best way though...kinda ghetto if you ask me.

Line level adaptor. Or buy an amp with high level inputs. That way the factory deck can be plugged directly into the amplifier.

What is line level adaptor? Also my MTX amps has input and output. So where can i plug in the input to? To the line level adaptor? What is that? Can someone send me a website of one. Thanx for all your ppl's help. I really appreciated. U mean like one of these.

From what your basic knowledge level of this sort of install seems to be, I would recommend you let a local, reputable shop do this for you. You may later regret doing it yourself.

That will tell you how to hook up an amp, not install an amp. There is a big difference. I could teach a monkey to hook up an amp. Obviously, some people never learn to install amps. Just have a browse through SD member pages. Thats proof enough.
