no dont get them boxes.. xscargo has NOTHING worth buying right now... the thing with them is you have to wait and watch for the good stuff to come around. Them subs are probably like 150 watts or some stupid like that and yea i would stay clear lol

That tiny little amp to power 2 boxes each with two subs in it? Ummmm, nope and it will more than likely destroy the amp as the subs are more than likely 4 ohms each, meaning a 1 ohm load on a amp that was not designed to run 1 ohm, or a 4 ohm load on the amp that will give you a maximum output of 150w rms or about 37.5 watts to each of the 4 subs. Not a good match at all.

Also, you have gone from two shitty subs to four now?
If I sound frustrated, its because I dont understand why you would ask for help, and then do virtually the oposite.
You have a limited budget. You therefore will have a limited set up (though it can still be pretty nice). Can you get a quality amp and sub? Abosolutely. Can you put together a 4x12" system that will be decent? Probably not. To me, you are better off investing that money in a system that you can build on later. For example buy a good amp, and ONE sub. You can add another sub later when you have the cash, but the amp could still be used. That type of thing. Its a lot better than buying garbage subs and boxes, and hooking it up to a little amp - all of which you are going to replace later.
If you have a limited amount of money- spend it wisely. Invest in the system that you really want in the future - even if you can't put the whole thing together today. The $500 you have is a lot to spend on equipment that could be basically worthless down the road.
Last, seriously consider looking in the classifieds here. For example Brospeed is selling a pair of very nice Alpine MRV-T420 amps for $150 each. Can you find a better amp for that money? You need to be careful about the condition of what you buy, but you can't argue with the value. Pair that with maybe one of vwtoby's JL 10W6's (or both, but it would be more than your budget), and with shipping you would likely be under your budget, and have a system you can be proud of.
That's by no means your only or maybe even your best option in the Classifieds, but I didnt have to go past the first page to find that. Dig a little, and you could find something that you like more, or maybe some stuff a little closer to home.

yes i would have to agree with him ... xscargo is sketchy.. you really have to watch and jump at the deals but right now there is nothing, and buying them like no name subs or wat not is probably the worst thing you can do. With your low budget your best bet is to go for the used stuff, it may not be under warrenty but this way you can get some good stuff and like Froster said add on later, just start building your system piece by piece when you find a good deal
