Hurricane nuts in Toronto area?
#2
Okay, I can't find hurricane nuts, so I'm going to use the workaround method recommended to me. That involves using tee nuts, but cutting off the teeth and gluing them onto the MDF.
However, since I need them countersunk, I need to be able to drill a little bit of wood off the baffle. Only problem-I don't have a drillpress. Can anyone recommend a way to be able to drill a little into the MDF at a perfect 90 degree angle without a drillpress?
Thanks in advance.

Thanks guys. I was so sure HD wouldn't have hurricane nuts.
Do they call them that, or do they go by another name at Home Depot?
Is it any easier to tap in a hurricane nut perpendicular, or do I still need to figure out a way countersink it a little?
Thanks again.
