Huge aeroports?
Upfire in an Alero trunk with port through middle of the seat.
2 15" BTL displacement .21 each
8.002cf3 @ 32hz
1" MDF
11.314" (128sqin) x 24.79" aeroport = 32hz
16" x 37" x 31.7" = 8.422cf3
Can you get 11.314" flared aeroports or will PVC suffice? How do you mount PVC pipe with screws? If I do this I'll wrap tan leather & velcro around it so it'll be matching with the interior and just sit there lookin' fly. It'll be +/- 6-8" from the seats.
Is using one huge aeroport not ok?
I drew up something for 2-8's but I can't stack zem in the middle, and I want a four seater. The amp is going in the trunk. It looks perfect, I've measured this trunk atleast 20 times and this is the most cone area and power that I can use without the woofers being too close to anything, they'll have about 2.5-3" clearance at full excursion. I could do 2 12's with a 14.5" x 6" slot port all facing foreward into the car also. Onions needed! Thanks.
