Holly fack !

I've been looking the faking internet like 2 months (got fever in the process)now cannot find a good page to tell me how to install MORE THAN ONE OR TWO CAPASITORS.

can someone please please to tell me How to install 2 or more capasitors in a car audio system.

my config :

-2 x T2 rockford fosgate subs
-Sealed box
-1x T20001bd rockford fosgate subs amp
-1x p400-4 rockford fosgate mids amp

so how can i install MORE THAN ONE OR MORE (multiple lots of capasitors , huge amounts)TWO CAPASITORS.

from the battery of the car to the +12 of the first cap then from that to the next 12+ of second cap then from that cap to the amp.

make a new ground for each cap. and it is that simple.
or what you can do is get "buss bars" from your local car audio store all these do is go from 12+ of one cap to 12+ of the other and ground of one cap to the ground of the other you will still have to make a ground for the caps and connect your caps to the battery of the car...

the caps should be mounted in side the car as close to the amp(s) as you can there is no need to put a fuse between the cap and the amp. altho i have a habit to over fuse so i do put a fuse at the battery after the cap between the battery. ( there for if you never need to pull the amp out for service all that i do is take the fuse out after the cap and the cap stays charged and there is not a huge spark when i put the fuse back in.

al tho with such a big sub amp i would not get caps my self i would put a second battery in the back of the car. and a bigger alt to supply the amperage to the batterys. to place a second battery in the back there is 2 main ways.
first way is to just run a 0 ga power cable from the stock battery to the second one in the back and then for the ground you have to make sure that it is a super nice ground. the second way is to run the same 0 ga from the stock battery then put a battery seportator then from that to the second battery all the battery seportator does is if you ever have the car off and the music playing and the battery in the back dies it does not steal power from the front battery and drain that battery to.. that way if the one in the back dies you can still start the car

It doesn't matter electrically how the cap is wired, just branch another wire off from a distro to all the caps...

The caps should be wired in parallel with each other. If you wire them is series, capacitance decreases; wire them parallel, capacitance increases. It's the opposite of resistors.

I have 2 caps wired in Parallel.

Each cap has a 0 ga. wire from the + terminal to the + input side of the fused distribution block.
AND each cap has a 0 ga. wire from the - terminal to the ground distribution block.

0 ga. welding cable came from Princess Auto, and all my 0 ga. gold plated ring lugs came from a clearance bin at Sayal for .99 each.

Then i ran 6 ga. wire to my amps from the fuse block. battery booster cables come in superflex red/black zip-cord style wire. Cheap and easy.

Thanks all you guys for your time and the inputs. I’ve wired my 4 caps in parallel and everything is working tight (good).

Yea, sorry for the mix-up, I meant it doesn't matter where in the electrical system the cap is located, but it must be wired in parallel, or else you will not be living too much longer.

Actually the closer to the amp you put the caps the more benefit the amp will see... dont forget the wires resistance will have an adverse affect (measurable) electrically. Personally my calculations (and others) have found minimal advantage with their use (just not that much stored energy (joules)) but if they solve a problem great if they dont... go buy a second battery.
