For the RCA you can run your subs off of any of them and it will work. BUT your head unit "Sub Control" on the head unit will not do a damn thing for the rear rcas.

also the rear rcas also put out the words and not just the bass so your sub will be getting the words as well. if you have a mono amp its an easy fix you just turn off the x-over.

power distrubition block is a lot easier then running a second wire, if your system is that small.

i think what he ment by the subs moving at different speeds was that the 10" is smaller then the 12" so it will be a little quicker with the notes unlike the 12" which takes a little bit longer.

I think thats what he ment. I dunno if its true or not. But I think if it is true then it would be such a small difference that you wouldnt even notice it.

Yeah, that's what I meant. It's more commonly noticed on subs that are bigger, like using a 10 and a 15.

Talking

It's not about time, it's about frequency response.....

Each driver will have it's own response curve and there will be points where they interfere and points where they reinforce each other....this will give you exaggerated peaks and dips in the sub woofer range of frequencies.

The over-all effect is bad for bass......muddy, sloppy and more distortion.

How much this bothers people varies, some can't hear it and it makes other people cry.....

The general rule is instead of running 2 different drivers take the better one and make a correct enclosure for it....sell the other one to pay for the

Instead of using a RCA splitter for both the amps, one of those amplifiers probably has a RCA output. If you just connected the RCA output of one sub amp to the RCA input of the other sub amp that would work good. And both would be on the decks subwoofer RCA output so you still could control your subwoofers volume from the deck.
