Hello, i installed my alpine deck cda-9874 to my honda accord 96 LX.. when i turn on my car.. my deck doesn't turn on until i press the power button.. or any button like left, right. anyone knows why ? and it keeps reseting my deck settings. i am sure i installed my iginition and battery wire correctly..

its annoying how i turn on the car and i gotta press the power button.. i jsut want to turn on my car and then the deck turns on by it self and left at what ever track i was when i turned off my car. please help me!!! this never happened to me before until they broke into my car and stole my deck, and this is my 2nd 7894 alpine deck. help!!!! email me at ekimnguyen@gmail.com !! thank u! i might forget to check tommorow thanks

The yellow wire on the deck is not connected to constant power.

okay, so.. my yellow wire of the deck.. i connect it to the white/red wire?? i think that's my constant power wire??

get a power tester, and just double check to see which is constant power it will save you a ton of guessing

ya sounds like you may have switched the power and accessory up ;o

we dont know your colors check www.installdr.com they may have the wire codes

yeah, my power was switched.. lol and my fuse was dead :P i replaced it and now it works cause my clock used to not work too and now it does =)!!
