Help with install to new car
So i bought a new 2008 Subaru Impreza 2.5i and im wondering if its possible to put in subs but use the factory CD player that it came with, the speakers and tweaters that the car came with are great but it does need at least 1 sub if not 2.
any info on if its possible and if you know if it'll void any of my warrantys if i get a place to put it in, im going to call the dealership tomorrow and ask about the warranty.

if you just want to add subs, that's not a problem. You can either use a line out converter (loc) to tap into the rear speaker wires, or you can get an amplifier with high level inputs. This will give you the input signal, and the amplifier and subs would be set up as usual. The easiest option is to get an amplified subwoofer system from Bazooka, Infinity, Alpine, etc... They include everything in one chassis, and can add enough bass to round out your factory system. If you want a lot of bass, then look to a separate amplifier and sub(s) set up.
