Help with an install.

I have recently purchased some new stuff and want to get the most out of it as i can. I know a little bit but i have never really gotten into Wiring for ohms and such. I have 2 12" ALPINEŽ SWX-1243D DVC 4ohm and to power them i have 2 Fusion PPAM200010 Amps 1 Ohm stable. I was told i would wire them up normally and a have short RCA cable from one amp to the other. iv did some searching and found diagrams of 1 amp for 2 DVC 4 Ohm subs to make them 1 Ohm. Is it possible to get 1 Ohm with out hooking them together? I want one amp to power one sub and the other to power the other but i want the maximum amount of power going to each sub. Thanks for your time.. if i have missed something let me know...

are the amps bridgeable if so im pretty sure youd wire your subs down to 1 ohm and bridge the amps another route would be to have a sub to a amp but setting gains gets a tad complicated that way.

Each sub is wired like this to each amp. The amp will see 2ohms so 900 watts to each sub.

^ what he said. And that should be plenty. You likely would not hear the difference from 2ohm to 1ohm.
