aftermarket deck sony 4x jbl 6 1/2 no amp
i cut stock wires and rewired to speaker
thay did work when i did the speaker now f### all

Did you try troubleshooting? Have you pulled the speakers out to look? Did both stop working or just one? If both stopped most likely you have a short somewhere and the deck is going into protection. Check that the terminals aren't touching metal where you mounted them.

ok that makes me think that when i got the drives side done i did it fast if theres a short thats where it will be i will look later whan my wifes car is back thank you for your input
i was think that a short would do a fuse in the deck .that is good that the deck will go into protection mode [img]graemlins/thumb.gif[/img]
