'Punchiness' is more dependent on box design not the diameter of the sub. What is your budget for this system? That will really determine what you will buy. Kicker makes very good entry level stuff and of course they have that square stuff that everyone loves. I like to use Cerwin Vega, Polk, Mach 5 Audio and Elemental Designs for example. Using 4 10's is fine if you want to go that way, but using 2 12's as Fusion suggested or even 2 15's will sound good too.

so your pretty much telling me that 4 10"s is kind of a stupid idea becauseof the cost factor. and that 12"s or 15"s would be better. are those square subs any better or worse. the reason i wanted to todo the 4 10"s is because i have to take out the baack seat to do this and if im losing my back seat i want fill up that space but im open to ideas.

id have to say that square is unique and catches ppls eye but i dont really care im not going to be doing competions or anything id rather catch peoples eye when they look in there mirror and its viberating lol but thats for all the advice im sure i will figure somthing out
