Hello everyone. Today i got a different car, which is a 2004 grand prix gtp comp g with the monsoon sound system. I need some advice on what i should do with the sound system. I have a 7" power acoustik touch screen on its way that was supposed to go in my other car, but now the plans have changed :P. I am wondering if i should switch in the new deck, or keep the old one. If i put the new one in i will likely lose the song display on the HUD, but im not too concerned about that. Also, the harness to put in the new stereo will likely be very expensive because i would like to be able to keep onstar. Does anybody know which adapter would be best for keeping onstar? Im not sure which one is right, although i think it has to be the one for the monsoon stereo?

Another thing is, if i keep the factory deck what is the best way to wire in my two perfect 12 subs? Is there preouts somewhere so i can use rca's, or will a need a line output converter?

OH one more question, will the monsoon deck that is in my car now easily drop into an ordinary 04 grand prix gt with the plain deck? Its my sisters car and if its possible to put it in there she can have it. Do i need a different harness, or will it even work at all? Thanks.

nvm got it all figured out! The only problem is i put the deck in my sisters car and the security locked it out so i guess i have to take it to the dealer to get programmed now...

Also, the GMOS-4 worked great for putting in the deck in my car, although it is a little glitchy sometimes and sometimes it doesn't turn my factory amp on... Just a quick restart of the car fixes it though.
