I was talking to the other SQ guys here that say you need cash to win at SPL.
You don't NEED cash.. sure, it makes things a little easier, but you need cash to do anything. Including SQ.
So to say that it takes no knowledge and skill to do SPL is just wrong.

I never said I won first place with an $800.00 system. What I said was "I guarantee you can win trophies with less then $800.00 worth of gear"
But since the education system has obviously failed once again, you misread that. </font>
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

DannO - no need for insults there dood - you're the one winning your class in 3rd place??? Tell me - were there only 3 cars in the class...
As for education - any time you want to learn anything just ask me.
I guess I did indeed misread all your pawnshop pricing - I need to ask where the $800 comes from though? A guess? How about $750? Could you rip off a stunning 3rd then? $700? Or is that now below "Competition SPL level"??
And further to that - so if I take a bunch of the stuff I have lying around and put it in the car and win a 3rd place trophy like you, does that mean the system was technically free and I win? Just trying to get a hold on your advanced logic
Keep responding though - it's been amusing so far.

Hey RETARDS... Grow up.
To me it really don't matter how loud you can get. It's hanging out with your friends that matters. Don't get me wrong I'd love to do a 160+ but as long as I have fun, I'm happy.
So for those who are arguing like morons on here with their 700$ systems. STOP.
Does anyone remember the original question to the thread?
Sorry about the off-topic-ness Humvee2...
Question: What does it take to win tropheys in SPL?

Dukk it's quite clear to me. Danno has spent $1000 and won a third place trophy. But if he would have only spent $800 he could have done the same thing (because at locals you only get trophies for 1st-3rd usually). Now I'm wondering if by dropping the $200 of his system he was getting rid of his sub, because that's all I can see in his list that is worth $200. In which case he is the best SPL'er in the business! To think that you could get third place with no speaker at all!
