Guide to wiring up the relays anyone?

85 - The 'Trigger' - whatever switched 12v+ wire you want to turn the relay on, eg remote wire from deck
86 - Ground
30 - Fused 12v (this will be the lead that powers the lights/fans/amps/whatever)
87 - Power out to the lights/fans/amps/whatever
hey, check this out, explains it all..

Note that many installers (like me) reverse 30 and 87 so that 87a is not hot at rest.

ok so what i plan on doing is using the rem wire power to turn on the relay, then have the positive and ground pulling from the main power off the amps. is this ok or should i get a 3 way splitting block and run a separet line for the relay?
thx for the help guys
