Guide to wiring up the relays anyone?

anyone draw up a diagram or a link or guide to how to wire up a relay to turn on all my lights in my trunk?
you probly need more info but just ask if you do.

wow thx man thats what iam looking for. but i cant seem to see a guide on wiring a relay using your amps.

Lightbulb

85 - The 'Trigger' - whatever switched 12v+ wire you want to turn the relay on, eg remote wire from deck

86 - Ground

30 - Fused 12v (this will be the lead that powers the lights/fans/amps/whatever)

87 - Power out to the lights/fans/amps/whatever

Note that many installers (like me) reverse 30 and 87 so that 87a is not hot at rest.

ok so what i plan on doing is using the rem wire power to turn on the relay, then have the positive and ground pulling from the main power off the amps. is this ok or should i get a 3 way splitting block and run a separet line for the relay?

That's fine. I would fuse the wire leading to the relay from the amp B+
