I hope you went back and complained and got some sort of compensation. otherwise I would even consider bringing them to small claims court. Those are expensive speakers and the damage to the car is irreversible.

Your right. Im so disgusted with the work, like don't they know the frames of the speakers should not be bent whatsoever and speakers must be mounted flush with no gaps. Hopefully the next place will be able to bolt in some spacers and mount the speaker to the ring. In the end its my fault i should of gone to a better shop but who would of known right?
I don't have money to go to court i think ing the word around that there installs are bad is better! I don't want this to happen to somebody's car again! Tell your friends etc.

Gross.

There's no way for you to know if a shop is any good other than word-of-mouth, and even then, there might be a really great installer there and a handful of retards and it's only luck which one you'll get.

You could always raise hell with them. What could they argue back?

If you want it guaranteed done right, go to EHR. They've been around forever and they stand behind their work.

This thread makes me facepalm pretty hard.. You ask for good installers and get a ton of suggestions from vets on the site and then go to a different shop and come back with a horror story. Seems kind of silly xD

And small claims court shouldn't cost you anything but your personal time. Rob would be the guy to talk to about that though.

Edit: Sorry - just saw Soundwaves was one of the suggested sites. My bad.

That's what I get for reading a thread half asleep.
