lol nick i wasnt talking about that hole where those door lock rods to thru either.

i ment the over all spl gain. i see a huge hole aside from the one with the metal rods thru it.

Right on. Nice to see a 2-door, crank window Cavy install. I got a 2002 myself as a commuter. How deep are those speakers? Any depth issues? Did you make a block-off plate for the 4x6 hole in the door or just cover it with the deadner and then mount the new ring to the door metal?

I would suggest leaving the part of the door where the door panel pins go through without deadener. Or a cut-out the size of a toonie over the hole will work too.
