Few Questions for experts :]
Hi.
I have few question about the installation of some things.
1. -the wiring. I did the big 3 and I used 8awg- is that enough or should i replace it with 4awg? (the positive terminal of the alternator is pretty small so the mounting of 4awg terminal will be somewhat tricky- I will be running two amps- one 500rms, second 440rms).
2. I have a main power wire running pretty close to cpu (or similar looking unit) [Pic.1]. Could the magnetic field created by the current in a wire affect the electrical components of that unit? Should I drag the cable on other side (drivers side) of the vehicle?

3. If it comes to sound deadning of my trunk, I stripped the carpet and i can see something that looks like a stock deadener on some parts. The material is pretty hard, and not flexible [pic.2 and 3]. If that happens to be a deadener- is that enough? If not - Should I remove it or just apply the deadener on top of that thing?

Sorry for the dark pictures- no flash :/
And last question regarding the mounting of front mids. The doors have only wholes in them [pic.4], on many setups I've seen something like a prefabricated mounting fixture that is putted in that hole. Where do I get that? I can get some metal rings to be machined to mount the drivers, and i was thinking of fiberglass enclosure behind that "hole" in the door- is that good? or should I left it open so the door will become one big box. (Drivers I will be using are - Infinity kappa Perfects 6.1)

Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank You, Luke.

1) 4AWG minimum should be used for the "big 3"
2) Won't affect anything
3) That is the OEM sound deadenign material, just about every single car car has the same stuff in them. Just add the sound deadening matt over it. Removing it it a pain in the butt and undernearth that sound deadening there is no paint. So you'd need to paint that area.
4) Depending what car that it, the size of speaker your are putting in the door, and the spacing available to the plastic door panel you'll most likely need a spacer. You can make your own out of MDF, Baltic Birch Plywood, or buy plastic ones of the appropriate size to go with the size of speaker you are using. with the appropriate spacing so that the speaer is as close to your door panl without touching it.

dont use mdf to make your rings or spacers they will swell from moisture and fall apart!. use ply wood if you're not feeling rich...if u got a few bucks go to your local shop and tell them u need ringsfor your cars front door speakers they "should" have the proper prefabed parts... the car looks to be a honda civic ... judging by the 3 hole spacer mounting and the wire colors of the factory speaker wire...well besides the computer module and the pretty green connector in the passenger kick panel...
