Right, did the fuse holder method, looks like ****, and there is something that bothers me about having a fuse on the main lines. I have a set of stinger couplers on the way from the states that should look better, and no worrie about a possible blown fuse.
The alternator only puts out 120 Amps, and the fuses are rated at 200, but still.... Thanks for the info guys.

A coupler is the "proper" way to do it.
Fusing the alternator, as long as that wire only goes to the alternator and nothing else, with a 120amp fuse, is prefectly ok since your alt probably isn't more than 120 amps.
