DynaMat Removal

I have "re-used" some sound deadening.
I sprayed a layer of 3M professional spray adhesive on both the deadening and the intended mounting surface before hand. After both had dried somewhat to become tacky, I applied the deadening.
What a PITA. It didn't work very well at all.
Get your wallet out Aaron.

Heat gun or blow torch to remove. Lay on the driveway on a hot sumer day so it softens and flatens out, contact cement on both the deadening and you panel that it's to be placed on and it "may" work.
Spray adhesive is garbage.
Save the environment....... recycle sound deadener.......... ha, ha, ha

I would try and save as much as I could. If it comes off well enough, you might be able to deaden some flat surfaces (cabin and trunk floors, etc.) in the your new install as less adhesive is required. As for good adhesives? I have some (old?) epoxy type . It smells some but it's plenty strong. Good luck. And if you decide to sell the old stuff, drop me a line! Cheers...
