Deck will not turn off

Hi everyone, I have a Pioneer DEH-P5900IB that I installed yesterday and when I finished testing it out and wanted to take it off it wouldn't turn off. I knew my car has no ACC wire so the deck will not turn off when the key is taken out the ignition, the reason being is because so many decks have been stolen that everytime the theives ripped out the deck the wires got shorter and shorter until dere was no ACC wire. In the manual it says to hold source and it will come off but the screen it still lit up. The only way the deck can turn off is if detach the plate.
Is there a way that it can be turned off without having to detach the plate all the time?

after you turn it off, one of the display buttons will turn off the clock.

and fix your ACC wire.

fix acc really its your best option unless you make a power switch to cut power to your deck but you would allways loose clock and settings

no the way it is it always stays the same and when ever i take off my car my amp and deck will still play which i like, it has not killed my battery yet and ive had it for about 2 years now.
But i fiddled around and got it to come off it was something with the display.
so thanks.

so far having that kll switch is the best solution i can think...and brings your car
1 step closer to looking like a james bond car

ps didnt you engage in preventing any future thefts?

yes i have
I have a different type of bracket installed to the deck which is screwed on to the compartment below that is like a little storage thing.
there is also a kill switch in the car so it cannot be started at all or if u wanna start it u have to press the brake, so they cant move it lol
