Deck Harness Problem
Hey guys, need some help again. I have a 92 honda accord, 4dr EX-R, and I ran into a small problem. Im going to just tell you the wire colours coming out of the wiring harness, to make this easier. I have a yelloow, a black, a white/orange, a blue, 2 greys, 2 whites, 2 purples, 2 greens, and a red. Now coming from the deck harness, I have, black, yellow, yellow/black, red, white/orange, then 2 greens, 2 purples, 2 whites, 2 greys. The deck harness has a yellow/black and a solid yellow and the wiring harness only has the 1 yellow. Now I plugged it in and it didn't turn on, so I'm pretty sure I need the yellow black wire, but not sure where to connect. I was thinking about wiring it in with the 2 solid yellows, but wanted to make sure. I know I purchased the correct wiring harness because on the front it says honda 86-2000 for aftermarket radios and I also asked the installer at futureshop if it was the correct one. Thanks again guys.

all the colors that you have 2 of,like a grey,grey/black stripe, white/white/black stripe, those are speakers.
youre solid yellow is constant power on both sides as well as the red is ign power(switched)on both sides, the black is a given(ground) if thats the way u hooked it and it no worky, check the fuse.

Don't think you get me dude. The stock deck that was in it turned on fine, but this is the problem. From the deck, I have 2 yellow wires. Ones solid yellow, ones yellow/black. From the wiring harness, there is just 1 solid yellow. So I have a yellow wire sitting there connecting to nothing.

On the wiring harness, the only loose wire is a solid blue. According to the package, it says thats for the antenna. Should I hook it up to the yellow/black? I also checked the install manual and it mentions NOTHING about the yellow/black wire, yet when I put the stock stereo back in, it turns on fine.
