Anyone know of any good shops that will fiberglass a custom enclosure into my car for a decent price? I'm looking to have it fiberglasses flush into the hatch so it appears as if part of the car. Best quote I've got so far is 600 total. Looking to do 2 12s, 1.2cubes each.

Audiosource in Cambridge does a lot of fiberglass installs. Give them a shout. They are on Franklin Blvd. But I don't know the address of hand.

Alright, I'll check out audiosource, price is a big issue for me. Does anyone know anyone around the kw-gta area doing a nice job, doesn't have to a professional shop, can be a shack for all I care.

so if price is an issue then just do it your self. its not that hard, all you need is some basic tools. actually all you would need is a jig saw and a sander.

(EDIT) hell if i lived closer to you i would do it for ya, for a small charge. seems that the only way to get into the industry is if you have excperience(and some spelling abillities ) and its hard to find people that want custom work done in winnipeg...

I'm just scared to **** it up and waste materials. I bought my first car, Toyota Supra MKIII mint condition and no longer have the pleasure of abusing the crap out of my moms accord. I want to keep everything beautiful, including the enclosure. Got some serious subs for her also, comaprable to the RE XXX. Do you really think I can pull it off?

^^^X2. glassing is really easy. im sure there are a bunch of ppl near you that would love to help. even if you can find anyone, just do a lil practice. make a form out of cardboard and start havin fun with it. for all the material that you will be using to practice, it prob wont be more than 20 bucks. all in all if you do it yourself/with someone you will have experiance which means you can do other things with fiberglass in the future(maybe some kicks...)

so what subs did you get?

I bought Ascendant Audio Avalance 12s, 2 of them . www.ascendantaudio.com. They were selling em for 200USD each, total with shipping was 620CND ..not a bad deal. They sound amazing, not as much output as a brahma or XXX but from what I'm hearing the sound better and are a lot cheaper. Thanks for the advice guys. The subs should be here by the end of the month. I'm gonna do some practice and i'll PM you when I'm getting started. Thanks again.

Oh yeh, I had a question...Should I do all the sound dampening before or after the glass work?

Fiberglass over the dampening material? Or just stick it on where you can afterwards?
