crossover questions
Hello, I have some questions about an installation for an active crossover.
I plan on using the crossover to control the frequencys for low and mid range speakers powered by a 4 channel amp.
-My head unit only has one pair of output rca's. However I notice crossovers can take high/mid/range rca inputs. I don't want to only control my subs, but I want to control my mid range power before its amplified as well. So I won't be able to control the mid range speakers through the crossover unless my head unit has an extra pair of rca's?
-My other alternative and idea was just to use inline passive crossovers for the mid range 6.5 speakers only. However, If i ran 12 ga speaker wire for these, I've noticed many of these inline passive crossover wire ga is smaller than 12 ga, i don't want to choke power too much. Is there a bigger gauge passive crossover online somewhere?
thanks alot.
