Just the basics:
even formatted pretty so you can REALLY use it as a checklist

-RCAs [ ]
-Amp to speaker wires, check connection [ ]
-Amp to speaker wires, check polarity [ ]
-Ensure all grounds are secure and touching bare metal. [ ]
-Ensure connection between remote lead/relay to remote terminal on amps [ ]
-Check fuse for main amp power wire(s) [ ]
-Check fuses on amps
-Make sure all speakers are sealed and boxes are not leaking [ ]
-Check gains at 75% vol. with variety of 0db tones depending on speakers [ ]

SQ specific:
-Check imaging. Perform "blind test" (Hands on steering wheel, preferably) [ ]
-Check imaging. Sit in the car and listen to a song on headphones and compare it to your car stereo. [ ]
-Ensure flat response curve. Use an RTA or db meter. Adjust EQ [ ]
-Ensure all resonant panels are deadened with dynamat or comparable [ ]

-Go [ ]

as in, static?

I'd recommend using a strut bolt or something as a ground. Not sure if you're having problems with that. But having a long line directly to the battery ground post isn't a great idea.
