No trades man! I need the small footprint for my install. I should be working on the car some time soon. I want to start the sub and mid range construction. Not having tunes sucks!

I'll be in the same boat shortly once the HAT trade goes through....btw I was kidding about the swap LOL!

Once the HAT's arrive we should schedule a couple hours to allign the 1" and 3" on the A'pils' and show me how to cut out the metal in the kicks. Do we need a special cutter? If so I go buy a neumatic type!

C u in the new year!

Well, last night I had a little time to work on some of the fiberglass projects in the car. But in between those projects I decided to work on my processor cover. As I posted earlier, I'm using the new JL Audio HD amplifiers. I bought 4 of them, but I only actually need 3. I wanted a symmetrical looking install and my H701 (plain gray box) just wouldn't match. So I machined out enough of the aluminum to allow the processor to fit into the empty HD case. Not a bad way to spend $1000 eh!

Did the case cost 1000 or all 3 amps + shell?

I hope you don't mind too much if I end up stealing the idea of using an amp shell to stick the H701 in...
