Capacitor not working

Ok here's the deal.
I have a 1.5 farad cap with a volt read out.
It's all hooked up and was working.
Just yesterday I was taking a look at it, and it doesn't come on.
The led on it, blinks about once every 4 seconds.
All the wires appear to be hooked up fine.
Any ideas?

I think I will beat everyone to it and say that a good idea would be to sell it and do the big 3. ( I finally have confirmation that caps do absolutely nothing, and I will soon know whether or not the big 3 is as "godly" as everyone says it is ) But if you are just using it for looks then your goin to have to tell us how you hooked it up in order for us to know what is wrong with it.

****ers? what did I do? I hate capacitors, i'd need about 5 to get any benefit. Caps blow up sometimes, maybe that's just what happened to yours. I know if you hook it up wrong just once it will kill it. Anyways thanks for being nice about getting help
