That is a bad example considering most automobile manuals/dealerships suggest some form of break in.

Never heard about breaking in a new automobile... I know when a car was staying for longer you shouldn't floor it as it may screw up cylinders or pistons and other moving parts lol...

yes, play music but not at max, 80% max for a week at least.

New speakers have stiffer mechanical, so if you put much power on the beginning you can overheat the coil.
