Bazooka El-460 Problem please help.
I tried installing this 4 chan x65 rms amp to replace the 2 x 50x2 rms ones i have running currently
to get my system to a single amplifier setup but ran into a big problem.. I apply the 12/rem/ground and the amp powers on green with no protection or anything.. I have the rca's from the hu (front's and rear/sub ones) going to the chan 1/2 and 3/4 and all the speaker wire hooked up properly so everything is in order.. but there is no output going to the speakers or the sub. However I know the speaker outs work somewhat because when I apply the speaker wire to the connection the sub moves for a second but there is no sound. If i rapidly apply and remove the wire from the speaker output it mimics the sub moving but no sound... any ideas i'm really stumped on this one..

Your subs probably isnt moving to the music when you do that. Its just get a connection making it pulse for a second but not because of the music but because of your connection and power going to it.
But with that said it sounds like ur outs are getting some kind of power. your just gonna have to go threw all the connections again and make sure they are correct. This could be many problems but might as well start with the easiest stuff.
mak sure everything is hooked uo properly
the rca to the hu are still coneccted
the hu is turned up
the amp gain is turned up a bit to send a single
the rca outs are turned on from ur head unit
try different rca from a different music source.
like an ipod or music player and just plug it into ur head phones to an rca connection

just to refresh.. i tried 2 diff amps on the same wiring/setup i have in the trunk and both work flawless except the bazooka.. so that pretty much scratches everything off that list I guess except amp gains which yes I did check. I think i just got a fried amp.
