It's not that he's young, even he even is. It's that he asked for all kinds of answers. They were spoon-fed to him, and he completely disregarded everything.

I get a few customers like this every year in the shop. Usually it's best just to send them off to someone else, because no matter what you tell them. They insist they are right, buy what they want, and when it doesn't turn out their way..which it never does, they complain about the shop to their friends, come back 2-3 times expecting everthing to be done for free (take back the old equipment and reinstall new stuff for free..etc).

i did say thank you to ppl who actually gave me an answer or an advice... some were just off track things that i think were spoken by ppl who aether didnt understand what i asked for, some even seemed biased and some try to say something but not rilly on the topic... and yes i currently dont have money for the some of you will call "real deal"(and i doubt ill ever spend so much money on car audio), currently im not trying to be pro/the best/ nor go to competitions.... it juts for fun... something to do to get the stress out, thats why i do everything myself (cheaper/ more fun/ and i can actually learn something)... and all i asked is whats recommended for the jl (i got few recommendations, however my choices were never rejected or even commented on) and i also asked about the hook up with the other speaker (there was no answer to that question- but it wont matter anymore, since its a bad idea to use 2 different speakers anyway.... not rilly knowing why(knowing sound waves basic logic it wont matter what drivers are there, all it matter is synchronization of the waves, and reflection from the surface- which in a car is impossible to calculate... maybe if you integrate over "civic"-AGAIN not trying to prove anyone wrong- this is MY personal opinion, not wrong, correct statement.... and yeah i like to question ppl/authority... i never assume someone is 100% correct on something no matter who he is, but i never assume he is wrong right of the bat neither...)...maybe it seems like i dont want to learn from your opinions, but i wont "learn" from somebody who is telling me something and i should believe just because he said so.... for example Sikk Nation explained why the jl puts out all the power along the range of 1.5ohm -4ohm, did i learn something from it- yes, will i put my life on the validity of this statement- no...
seems like im bothering some of you here, so i will stop since i dont like to **** ppl off...
cheers

this might give you a good laugh, but i was in similar situation few years ago, never rejected or made fun of any advice i received, but i did have problem with putting the mass on, i realized my mistakes after 2 months, never tried drugs other then keratin (no i didnt eat 5 spoons a day, and yeah i drunk tons of water), i worked on my diet (never could get it done "professionally" since some of the "pros" wanted $250 for a diet write up, yes just a write up. so i did my own research which improved the situation slightly.. i admit i like do things myself, but i do listen to ppl that can make since and who can support their arguments... at the end one person asked me how much i sleep, and that was the problem... i admit for ignoring that fact, but at the end it didnt cost me anything, and i get the "problem" resolved...

Unfortunalty this is a hobbie that requires money. Sometimes in life there are things that you want but you simply cannot afford. You asked for advice, and recived it(good advice at that) It seems from your posts that you disregarded it totally. From what I gather you want alot of bass from a cheap sub in a sealed box for little or no money that will run off that JL amp. Those criteria do not mix. That is why people are telling you to get this or get that. It's ok do what you want. When your stuff blows up don't complain take it as a life lesson for the time that you thought that you were smarter than everyone else. If a vendor is saying that he WON'T take your money cause your too dense, you need to stop and think for a second. I don't like to condone illeagal activity but if you have an expensive habbit(car audio, drugs, gambling) then perhaps you should find another way to support it. I would suggest drug trafficing it seems pretty lucrative!

i did not ask about cheap loud sub in the first place... im currently running one f the most expensive amps so i wont consider myself cheap.... all i wanted is recommendation (i said i got few and i did not reject them (learn how to read with understanding first since i said that 3 times already), no quote or a business proposal (the way you think -"drug trafficing it seems pretty lucrative!" well lets just say keep it up and see what happens) "If a vendor is saying that he WON'T take your money cause your too dense, you need to stop and think for a second." maybe you need to think why he would think ill be a problematic customer? .... and i rilly dont care about that part of his opinion since i didnt want to buy anything from him from the first place...
" I don't like to condone illeagal activity but if you have an expensive habit(car audio, drugs, gambling) then perhaps you should find another way to support it." i donno what you do in your free time, but i a hobby and addictions are two different things... (just reading that kinda puts you in a bracket of drug dealers, and not people that enjoy playing with car audio).... an expensive hobby is boating cuz the maintenance is a bitch(and no you dont need to traffic drugs to afford it- maybe get some education or what not will be a good start), u have to now that hobby or lifestyle is as expensive as it maintenance... and thinking that car audio requires 0 to none maintenance.... seems like a good deal.... you can always find a deal, even if some of them seem outrageous... for example the jl i have cost me $150 and is still on warranty(yes its fully working), today i found brand new jl 12w7 for $400, and another one like that for $500 with the original enclosure (good deal- yes, can i afford it at this time-no) .... and again instead of getting my question answered ppl keep saying or asking questions off topic. and no you dont NEED to answer it, so if you dont feel like it, or dont know how- DONT.
Please before saying anything read the post carefully cuz this is annoying.

and questions i asked before are not relevant anymore since i gave it a good thought, considering opinions of some of you here, and my budget... and i think ill measure my box im currently using and try to find a best sub for it with some help of uni box program (i know - working backwards... its more difficult and maybe stupid but i think its doable)
