I would check the max current draw for that amp at 1 ohm. maybe it needs a 80a fuse. * the battery fuse is only meant to protect the power wire in case of an accident, and not the amp.

Just like to add some theory on this question:
Mathematically, P (Power) = I (amperage/current)* V(Voltage) or I=P/V (this is the size of fuse supposedly inline with an amplifier).Example: your system (with load) is rated at 900W running with 13volts supply, your current draw would be about at 70 amp max(900/13). To be safe,a 60amp fuse would be recommended.
Mathematically, P (Power) = I (amperage/current)* V(Voltage) or I=P/V (this is the size of fuse supposedly inline with an amplifier).Example: your system (with load) is rated at 900W running with 13volts supply, your current draw would be about at 70 amp max(900/13). The rest of the current is converted to heat.
