ya i ahve a digital muti meter but where do i connect the red and black cord and what setting do i put it on before measureing the ohm

anybody explain to me how to measure the ohm from my digital multimeter in ohms i have 2000K , 200K, 20K, 2000, and 200 what one of them do i put it on i know where the black and red cord go on the multimeter but i dont know where im suppose to place the black and red cord on my system to, if im suppose to put it on where the wires come out from the amp or if im suppose to put it on where the wires go into the sub at the back of the box help please thanks
