amp cutting out problem

yep 4 gauge power wire 4 gauge ground wire and 4 gauge wire for my capasitor too everythings 4 gauge this is just so weird y the subs dont work it beyond me y they dont

k well im goin to bed for the night if anyone has any idea at all i would please like to know some things to try this has been hell trying to get these subs to work properly thanks

The only other thing you can check is the actual impedence using a meter. Even though voice coils could be listed as 4 ohm they could be as low as 3.2ohms which means your overall bridged could be around 1.5ohms throwing it into protection. Measure the ohms at the speaker leads into the amp. If it is much lower then 2 this could be the problem.
