I just compared the antenna connection from my old Sirius boombox to the connection used by the reciever behind the glovebox in my '07 Ranger and it looks like they are the same size and dimensions.

My question is this, Has anyone first hand had success with connecting the OEM satelite radio antenna in their vehicle to an aftermarket tuner?

I even tried hooking up the boombox antenna to the Sirius tuner in my truck it was a very tight fit (OD's are slightly different) but i'm pretty sure it made a full connection.
