nope i didnt do any modificatioins i just took out the original plugged the harness in and slid the radio into its cage. how do itest the ground of my radio,harness and everywhere else? if im not getting enough power to my radio could that be why its skipping?

do you have a volt meter ? and yes if the hu isnt getting enought voltage then it wil skip, is kida like taking away half your air.... youll still work but just half as well lol

ive checked the current everything is fine. like i said when the radio is cool and i just started the car i could hit the bumps and it wont skip on the hard ones but as soon as it warms up just the slitest bump over a sewer cap and its gonna skip. i cannot figure out the problem. could it be the harness? maybe because i spliced the wires and soldered them together instead of using adapters?
