I was once known as kick'n'civic I had that green 95 hatch with 3L7 's shoe horned into the back something happened with my old ID so I had to change it.
And i blew up the motor so that car no longer exists..

well i havn't been on here for some time ....just reading up on all that i missed.
I did end up getting this set up done and holy crap does it pound.
as far as no one wanting the 4 6x9's in the rear.....well it sounds great.

Is this simply your personal opinion or do you have a technical reason that you can backup with facts that prove that oval speakes do not sound good compared to equivalent round ones?
I agree that many el cheapo super duper 4 way paper crapy 6x9s sound really bad, but many good companies make 5x7, 6x9s that are quite good and use the same technology as their higher end component kits.
Oval speakers may have different dispersion and breakup modes than round speakers but it may be very hard to tell them apart in a car audio setup. The main reason most people replace stock in door 5x7 or 6x8 with round ones is that until recently you could not get high quality oval components. If all you are going to do is drop an aftermarket speaker into a door, then I see no reason not to use an oval that fits directly. Of course if you are doing custom door panels, or do an install that cuts into the panel and shows off a nice speaker and grill, or want a really high end system, then of course round is the way to go!
