Hi All,

What 4 channel amps do you recommend to run MTX Thunder Dome-Axial TDX6502 6 1/2" Speakers

Right now I have 4 of these speakers connected to my factory deck (2005 nissan X-trail SUV)

Also how much of improvement do you anticipate I will gain? The installer is trying to talk me into getting an aftermarket deck....I want to keep the factory look and 6 cd changer....just want more clarity and loudness

Also in regards to AMP wiring kits I was FS and the kid was trying to sell me a amp wiring kits close $200...I've checke on EBAY I can get a 4 gauge amp kit for $70

Also does anyone on this forum do amp installs? What's the going rate for a 4 channel amp install....the speakers are in the doors...where is the best place to install the amp?

You will notice a huge difference, but I recommend getting someone else to install it. Where do you live?

brampton - oakville area what specs should i look for an amp to run these speakers?

Just something that gives out 70-100w per channel at 4 ohms.
